Taylor Hacquard : Driver

Biography

Hacquard begins his 2010 racing season in the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Street Tuner class with Freedom Autosport in one of the team's MAZDASPEED3s. Hacquard joins the team to help create a strong lineup of drivers.


Personal

Hacquard works full time as a Marketing and Sales Director for Vespa Surrey, a scooter dealership, in the lower mainland of British Columbia. A self-described motorhead, Hacquard enjoys snowmobiles, motocross and customizing and racing cars. Additionally, he enjoys hockey.

Pierre Kleinubing : Driver

Biography

Kleinubing was born in 1974 in Erexim, a town in southern Brazil. He started racing at age 12 when a friend of his bought a go kart and moved Pierre into the driver's seat. But there's only so far anyone can go in Brazilian racing, so Kleinubing moved to America in 1995 looking for opportunities. In 2008, he started the season with a win from pole at Sebring in a RealTime Acura TSX. Collected six more podium finishes before ending the season second in the SPEED Touring Car Drivers' Championship, five points behind team owner Peter Cunningham. With these set accomplishments he now brings his experience and talent to the i-MOTO team.


Personal

Married to Carla. Outside of racing, Pierre enjoys soccer, water skiing and go karting. Drives an Acura RL on the street.

Todd Lamb : Driver

Biography

Lamb will debut in the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series GT class in 2010 with Racers Edge Motorsports. In the Rolex 24 At Daytona, he will drive with Jordan Taylor, Glenn Bocchino and Jade Buford. Todd Lamb pairs up with Bocchino for the duo’s second season as co-drivers. In 2009 they had a best finish of second at Mazda Raceway in the GS class.


Personal

Lamb, from Atlanta, GA, was the Playboy Mazda MX-5 Cup series champion in 2009, and is driving for MAZDASPEED this season in the #30 Rolex GT RX-8 along with his ST duties. Todd Lamb has been racing since age 10. He currently resides in Atlanta, GA. He is the founder and former publisher of 2Wheel Tuner magazine and Speed, Style, & Sound (S3). He graduated from Kettering University in Flint, Mich., with a degree in mechanical engineering. Lamb spent 10 years as an engineer in the automotive industry working on seat belts, airbags, and seating. He participated in High Performance Driving Events in a race-prepped Corvette Z06 from 2001 to 2005. Lamb has enjoyed multiple spots on the podium including the MX-5 cup chamionship in 2009, and as the NASA Spec Miata chamion in 2008.


Racing Career Highlights

2009
Landed 18th in Grand Sport points standings after driving in 10 of 11 races with co-driver Glenn Bocchino and Kinetic Motorsports. Claimed best finish of second at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and six top 10s, including five straight at one point. Led two races for 28 laps.

2008
Started three GS races with best finish of fourth at Barber Motorsports Park, driving for Kinetic. Also made four starts in Street Tuner class for Bill Fenton Motorsports, with best finish of fourth at Daytona International Speedway.

2007
Competed in seven ST races for Bill Fenton Motorsports, with four finishes of sixth or better and a season-best result of third at Lime Rock Park.

2006
Debuted in ST competition, running four races for three different teams with best finish of sixth at Barber driving for Powell Motorsport.


GRAND-AM/Racing History

2009
Earned eight victories and seven poles en route to SCCA Playboy Mazda MX-5 Cup championship. Competed in 25 Hours at Thunderhill.

2008
Won NASA National Championship in Spec Miata. Won SCCA 13 Hours of Virginia International Raceway in Spec Miata.

2004
Competed in Spec Miata Milwaukee Cup, Bondurant Drifting School and Bridgestone Driving Academy.

2003
Taught at Skip Barber Driving School as Corvette Track Day Driving Instructor.

2001
Finished fourth overall in SKUSA National Championship, rookie year in 125cc shifter kart racing.

2000
Earned WKA Sprint Series Championship.

1999
Won a local oval track karting championship, and also posted several road course victories.

1998
Competed in Skip Barber Formula Dodge Pro Series and Speedvision Cup action.

1997
Participated in Skip Barber Formula Dodge Race Series.

   













Glenn Bocchino : Team Owner and Driver

Biography

Bocchino will compete in the 2010 GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series season opener, the Rolex 24 At Daytona, with Racers Edge Motorsports and co-drivers Todd Lamb, Jordan Taylor and Jade Buford.


Personal

Bocchino is the president of Cobalt Friction Racing Brakes. He is married to Suzette and has two children - Calvin and Carly.

Moved to Grand Sport class, starting 10 races with best finish of second at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with co-driver Todd Lamb and Kinetic Motorsports. Overall, notched six top 10s and ran in top three in points early in season. Returned to Street Tuner class for two races, placing 17th in both. Led laps in both classes.

2008
Won first career Street Tuner race at Daytona International Speedway, winning with Nick Wittmer in i-MOTO Racing Acura TSX. Overall, finished 20th in ST points. Made two starts in GS with Kinetic.

2007
Finished sixth in ST points with seven top 10s and a season-best third at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

2006
Started six ST races and gave Acura TSX its first podium finish (third) in history. 2005: Made one ST start at Daytona, finishing 16th in class driving for SpeedSource. 2003: Debuted in ST I, starting three races with best finish of 13th at Daytona.

i-MOTO is returning with longtime Crew Chief Tom Badger, as well as many of the crew members from 2008. An expert in calculating pit layout and new, efficient ways to manage the crew, Tom brings an experience and flawless execution to managing team operations in the pits that is critical to the team's performance.
